Welcome Creekers and friends! This site is dedicated to the discussion of illegal immigration in the State of Arizona and specifically the town of Cave Creek. It must be understood that this site was not created to foster racism or hate. Rather create awareness of a growing issue that has become very real and visible in our Community. At the center of this issue is Day Labor. Federal and State officials all agree that the influx of illegals , primarily from Mexico, is fueled by the need for cheap labor in the United States. Recently, laws have been instituted in an attempt to halt the practices of employers that hire illegals. Unfortunately, these laws often go unenforced and the number of illegals streaming over the border continues to grow. No community is immune. As a boarder state, Arizona thus Cave Creek, is positioned on the frontline of this issue. An early morning drive down Cave Creek Road reveals just how our community is impacted by this invasion. Dozens of illegals line our streets and the Good Shepard of the Hills Church actively operates a Day Labor Center. Crime has increased and the community's ambience and spirit are threatened. With the ineffectivness of Federal and State agencies we are looking for a solution to our local problem. We encourage your imput.
